1. Key Responsibilities & Site Operations
As a Civil Site Engineer, your day-to-day duties will center on maintaining high structural execution standards and coordinating site activities:
- Supervise daily civil construction works on-site, including excavation, rebar placement, formwork, concrete pouring, and structural steel installation.
- Coordinate activities with main contractors, sub-contractors, MEP teams, and site foremen to ensure work progresses according to approved shop drawings and master schedules.
- Enforce strict quality control (QA/QC) standards, preparing Inspection Requests (IR) and conducting joint site inspections with consultant engineers.
- Verify that materials delivered to the site comply with approved Material Submittals (MAR) and project technical specifications.
- Monitor daily labor productivity, equipment utilization, and material consumption, preparing daily and weekly progress reports for project managers.
- Enforce site safety protocols (HSE) in compliance with company policies and Qatari municipal construction safety standards.
