Position Summary

Brunel is currently recruiting an experienced Construction Superintendent for a 36-month contract role supporting major oil and gas projects in Qatar. This supervisory role oversees on-site construction, fabrication, mechanical installation, execution, completion, hook-up, and integration activities, ensuring strict safety, schedule, and quality compliance throughout site operations.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Site Execution Supervision: Directly supervise daily construction, installation, structural/piping fabrication, and hook-up works on site to ensure compliance with approved project drawings and specifications.
• Completion & Integration: Lead sub-system completions, punch-listing, mechanical completion sign-offs, and pre-commissioning handover sequences.
• HSE & Quality Compliance: Enforce job site safety regulations, Permit to Work (PTW) protocols, and quality control procedures across main contractors and subcontractors.
• Interface & Planning Coordination: Coordinate daily progress routines with planning, engineering, and logistics units to resolve site clashes and resource bottlenecks.
• Progress Reporting: Maintain accurate construction daily logs, monitor milestone schedules, and report site progress using standard software applications.

Candidate Qualifications & Requirements

• Work Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience on large-scale oil and gas projects, including at least 1 year in a dedicated supervisory capacity.
• Technical Expertise: Hands-on knowledge of field erection, structural/pipe fabrication, offshore/onshore hook-ups, heavy lifting, and mechanical completion.
• Software Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of standard Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) for daily reporting and site correspondence.
• Core Competencies: Proven site coordination, construction planning, conflict resolution, and strong team leadership and communication skills.
