Position Summary

Wings Technical Services is currently seeking an experienced and proactive Insulation Foreman for full-time project deployment in Ras Laffan, Qatar. This site leadership role is responsible for supervising daily insulation crews, coordinating site manpower and material allocations, enforcing strict Permit-to-Work (PTW) protocols, and ensuring all thermal and acoustic insulation activities strictly comply with oil and gas health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Crew Supervision & Execution: Direct and oversee daily activities of site insulation applicators, tin-smiths, and helpers on piping networks, pressure vessels, and storage tanks.
• Manpower & Resource Planning: Allocate site manpower efficiently, monitor material consumption (rock wool, glass wool, cladding jackets), and organize daily shift schedules to meet baseline progress targets.
• HSE & Permit Compliance: Conduct daily pre-task briefing (Toolbox Talks), verify hot/cold work permits, and strictly enforce site safety rules regarding working at heights, scaffolding usage, and PPE.
• Quality Assurance & Inspection: Inspect insulation thickness, vapor barrier integrity, and sheet metal cladding finish before submitting work for QA/QC and client inspection sign-offs.
• Site Coordination & Reporting: Liaise with site engineers, scaffolding foremen, and HSE inspectors to resolve site access issues and prepare daily progress reports.

Candidate Qualifications & Requirements

• Work Experience: Demonstrated supervisory experience as an Insulation Foreman in major oil & gas, petrochemical, or industrial plant environments.
• Safety & Permit Knowledge: Thorough understanding of industrial **Permit-to-Work (PTW)** systems and oil and gas HSE compliance standards.
• Safety Certification: Relevant safety training or **OSHA / Nebosh HSE certification** is a distinct advantage.
• Residency Status: Must be ready for **immediate mobilization** with a valid **Qatar ID (QID)** and transferable sponsorship/NOC preferred.
• Leadership Skills: Strong team management, clear communication, and site problem-solving capabilities under tight execution schedules.
