Job Overview

Qatar Workool is currently hiring General & Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technicians for facility management and property upkeep operations across residential, commercial, and mixed-use properties in Qatar. Candidates should possess strong practical skills in preventive and corrective maintenance spanning electrical systems, plumbing networks, mechanical fixtures, and general property repairs.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience: 2 to 5 years of practical maintenance experience in commercial buildings, residential compounds, or hospitality facilities.

• Core Technical Competencies:

  • Electrical: Troubleshooting DB panels, single-phase/three-phase wiring, switches, sockets, light fixtures, and breaker resets.

  • Plumbing: Repairing pipe leaks, sanitary fittings, booster pumps, drainage systems, flush valves, and water heaters.

  • General Maintenance: Basic carpentry, door lock repairs, touch-up painting, silicone sealing, and minor masonry work.

• Skill Advantage: Multi-skilled technicians (combining Electrical + Plumbing or HVAC + Electrical) are preferred.

• Certification: Technical diploma, ITI trade certificate, or vocational training in Electrical, Plumbing, or Air Conditioning (HVAC).

Core Key Responsibilities

1. Preventive Maintenance (PPM): Execute routine daily and monthly preventive maintenance tasks for electrical distribution boards, plumbing pumps, and common-area facility fixtures.

2. Corrective Repair Work: Respond swiftly to breakdown requests, water leaks, power outages, and tenant maintenance tickets.

3. Multi-Trade Support: Assist senior HVAC engineers, control technicians, and civil teams during major repair work or system retrofits.

4. Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to site safety rules, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) protocols, and personal protective equipment (PPE) standards during maintenance tasks.

5. Inventory & Tool Care: Maintain hand tools, safety gear, and spare parts inventory (valves, breakers, fuses, fittings) in clean, working condition.
