1. Key Responsibilities & Architectural Drafting
As an Architectural Draftsman, your core daily functions will center on technical drawing production, design coordination, and documentation management:
- Prepare comprehensive 2D architectural drawings, floor plans, elevations, sections, reflected ceiling plans (RCP), and interior/exterior details using AutoCAD.
- Develop precise construction shop drawings and joinery details in compliance with project specifications, design intents, and building codes.
- Coordinate directly with structural engineers, MEP draftsmen, project managers, and site teams to eliminate spatial clashes and design inconsistencies.
- Incorporate client markups, architectural modifications, and consultant review comments into working drawing packages.
- Conduct site visits to verify measurements, assess field conditions, and update final as-built drawings and documentation upon project completion.
- Maintain organized drawing logs, version control, and revision histories in alignment with Qatar municipal regulations and CAD standards.
2. Candidate Eligibility & Selection Criteria
Applicants must satisfy the following academic qualifications, software skills, and professional experience to qualify for selection:
