1. Key Responsibilities & Operations Scope
As an AV Technician, your daily operational duties will focus on system maintenance, diagnostic troubleshooting, hardware configuration, and technical support:
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs on boardroom AV systems, commercial displays, projectors, matrix switchers, amplifiers, microphones, and speakers.
- Troubleshoot signal routing issues, audio feedback, display calibration faults, HDMI/SDI matrix failures, control system glitches (e.g., Crestron, AMX, Extron), and cabling defects.
- Set up and test audio-visual equipment for corporate meetings, live presentations, conferences, and special events hosted within managed facilities.
- Terminate, solder, and test various cabling types including HDMI, VGA, Cat6 network cables, balanced audio lines, and fiber optic connections.
- Coordinate with facility managers and IT/ELV teams to resolve integrated system breakdowns and ensure high uptime across all conference and entertainment spaces.
- Maintain accurate equipment inventory records, service logs, and submit daily maintenance reports through Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
2. Candidate Eligibility & Selection Criteria
