1. Key Responsibilities & Maintenance Operations
As a Carpenter, your daily duties will focus on preventive and corrective woodwork maintenance, fixture installations, and facility repairs:
- Perform general carpentry repairs, alterations, and installation of wooden doors, frames, windows, locks, hinges, cabinets, drawers, and furniture across client properties.
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair damaged wooden structures, drywall partitions, ceiling tiles, skirting boards, and floorings promptly.
- Measure, cut, shape, and assemble materials made of wood, plywood, fiberglass, or synthetic wood substitutes using hand and power tools safely.
- Maintain, sanitize, and inspect all assigned carpentry tools, power saws, drills, and equipment to ensure optimal working order and operational safety.
- Coordinate with facility supervisors and work order helpdesks to address tenant repair requests efficiently while minimizing operational disruptions.
- Observe strict Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) guidelines, wearing proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and maintaining clean, hazard-free work areas.
