1. Key Responsibilities & Technical Scope
As an Infrastructure Draughtsman specializing in foul sewer networks, your daily operational drafting duties will include:
- Preparing detailed CAD shop drawings, plan and profile layouts, trench details, alignment cross-sections, and composite utility coordination drawings for foul sewer networks.
- Developing structural shop drawings and accurate Bar-Bending Schedules (BBS) for reinforced concrete manholes, inspection chambers, drop structures, and valve vaults.
- Integrating GIS data layers and spatial attributes into network designs in strict compliance with Public Works Authority (Ashghal / PWA GIS) and QPRO guidelines.
- Structuring drawing packages to meet Roads Opening (RO), Traffic Diversion Plan (TDP), and Public Development & Licensing Management (PDLM) submittal standards.
- Collaborating closely with utility design engineers, quantity surveyors, and project managers to incorporate red-line markups and technical review revisions.
- Preparing as-built drawing documentation and technical submission packages required for final authority approval and handover.
2. Candidate Eligibility & Technical Criteria
