1. Key Responsibilities & Housekeeping Operations
As a Public Area Cleaner, your daily duties will focus on maintaining immaculate cleanliness, orderliness, and safety throughout the hotel’s public facilities:
- Clean, vacuum, mop, polish, and maintain all public zones including hotel lobbies, main entrances, elevators, guest corridors, stairwells, and public rest facilities.
- Ensure dining venues, breakfast areas, coffee lounges, and meeting rooms are thoroughly cleaned, organized, and sanitized according to luxury hotel operating standards.
- Perform routine surface polishing, glass cleaning, carpet spot removal, and furniture maintenance using professional cleaning products and equipment.
- Empty trash receptacles, replenish rest area amenities, and monitor public space hygiene at regular intervals throughout shift rotations.
- Adhere strictly to corporate health, safety, and hygiene standards, ensuring wet floor signs and hazard precautions are properly deployed.
- Promptly report maintenance deficiencies, damaged furnishings, or lost-and-found items to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
