Position Summary

Sky Dove HR Services LLP is currently seeking a skilled and hands-on AC & Refrigeration Technician for full-time employment in Qatar. This technical position involves executing installation, routine preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs for heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration (HVAC/R) systems across various commercial, residential, and project site environments.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Installation & Commissioning: Install split units, package AC units, ductable systems, chillers, and commercial refrigeration units according to project engineering drawings and manufacturer specifications.
• Preventive Maintenance: Conduct scheduled inspections, filter cleaning, coil washing, refrigerant pressure checks, and electrical connection checks to maintain optimal system efficiency.
• Troubleshooting & Repairs: Diagnose cooling failures, electrical circuit faults, compressor issues, gas leaks, and mechanical defects, executing immediate field repairs on site.
• Refrigerant & Pipe Handling: Perform copper pipe brazing, pressure testing, system evacuation/vacuuming, and precise refrigerant charging (R22, R410A, R134a, R407C) safely.
• Site Safety & Reporting: Adhere to site safety regulations, use appropriate PPE during height or live system work, and maintain accurate daily service logs and work orders.

Candidate Qualifications & Requirements

• Educational Background: Technical Diploma, ITI, or trade certification in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (RAC) or Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
• Work Experience: Minimum of **2 to 5 years of hands-on experience** in AC and commercial refrigeration maintenance and installation within project or facility environments.
• Technical Competencies: In-depth knowledge of HVAC cycles, electrical wiring schematics, compressor testing, control panels, and troubleshooting meters.
• Core Attributes: Strong problem-solving capability, physical fitness for project site conditions, and team coordination skills.
• Residency Status: Candidates currently in Qatar with a valid Qatar ID (QID) and transferable visa/NOC status, or applicants with valid overseas recruitment clearance, are invited to apply.
