Core Operational & Inflight Responsibilities

Reporting directly to the Cabin Senior / Cabin Crew Manager, Cabin Crew members execute the following essential inflight operations:

• Inflight Safety & Emergency Execution: Perform pre-flight safety checks on emergency equipment, conduct passenger safety briefings, enforce aviation security standards, and manage cabin emergencies or medical situations in accordance with QCAA and IATA regulations.

• 5-Star Hospitality & Service Delivery: Provide premium food and beverage service, deliver personalized attention to multi-national passengers across all cabin classes, and uphold Qatar Airways' luxury service presentation.

• Passenger Care & Comfort: Assist passengers with boarding, cabin seating, hand luggage stowing, and special service requests (unaccompanied minors, elderly passengers, or passengers requiring medical care).

• Cultural Awareness & Adaptability: Interact professionally with international passengers and diverse multi-cultural flight crews, maintaining composure and empathy across long-haul operations.

• Pre-Flight & Post-Flight Briefings: Attend safety and service briefings prior to each flight, verify flight documentation, and report inflight cabin incidents or maintenance items accurately.

Candidate Qualifications and Requirements

To qualify for the Qatar Airways Cabin Crew talent pool, applicants must satisfy the following criteria:

• Educational Attainment: High School Diploma / High School Certificate (minimum requirement); a University Degree in Hospitality, Aviation, or Languages is an advantage.

• Minimum Age & Physical Criteria:

  • Minimum age of 21 years at time of joining.

  • Minimum arm reach of 212 cm (on tip-toes) to reach overhead emergency equipment.

  • Physical fitness and ability to pass the Qatar Civil Aviation Authority (QCAA) medical examination.

• Work Experience: Minimum of 1 to 2 years of customer service, hospitality, front-desk, or retail experience with a strong customer-centric orientation.
