Position Summary

A reputable Engineering Company in Qatar is currently seeking an experienced and execution-focused Civil Site Engineer for full-time employment. This core engineering position is responsible for overseeing daily site execution, coordinating sub-contractors, verifying structural drawing compliance, enforcing strict quality control standards, and ensuring all civil construction activities are completed safely within target project schedules.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Site Supervision & Execution: Direct and oversee daily structural and civil engineering activities on site, ensuring work aligns strictly with approved Issued for Construction (IFC) drawings and project specifications.
• Sub-Contractor & Work Force Coordination: Coordinate daily tasks for sub-contractors, site foremen, and trade crews, ensuring optimal resource allocation and daily progress productivity.
• Quality Assurance & Compliance: Perform physical inspections on formwork, steel reinforcement, concrete pours, and masonry works before submitting formal Request for Inspections (RFIs) to consultant engineers.
• Timeline & Milestone Tracking: Monitor site construction milestones against baseline project schedules, resolve site execution bottlenecks, and report daily progress to project managers.
• HSE & Safety Enforcement: Ensure strict adherence to company safety policies, risk assessments, and Qatar construction site health and safety standards.

Candidate Qualifications & Requirements

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s Degree in **Civil Engineering** from a recognized university.
• Work Experience: Minimum of **4+ years of direct site execution experience** in building construction, structural civil works, or infrastructure projects.
• Technical Competencies: Expert ability to read and interpret structural drawings, architectural layouts, bar bending schedules (BBS), and technical specifications.
• Core Skills: Strong leadership, effective site problem-solving, site team management, and clear communication skills in professional English.
• Residency Status: Candidates currently residing in Qatar with a valid Qatar ID (QID) and transferable visa/NOC status are preferred for immediate hiring.
