Role Profiles & Core Responsibilities
1. Ducting Chargehand
Scope: Leading ducting installation crews on site, reviewing shop drawings, and assigning daily target work items.
Key Tasks: Ensure duct alignment, insulation, and damper installations match approved MEP drawings and site safety protocols; track daily material utilization and output.
2. Duct Man (HVAC Duct Installer)
Scope: Fabrication, assembly, and hanging of sheet metal ductwork (GI, PI, pre-insulated ducts).
Key Tasks: Install supply/return air ducts, fire dampers, flexible connectors, diffusers, and acoustic lining according to project specifications and supervisor instructions.
3. MEP Electrician
Scope: Installation and wiring of low-voltage (LV) electrical containment, power distribution, and lighting systems.
Key Tasks: Lay GI trunking, conduit, and cable trays; pull power/control cables; terminate distribution boards (DBs), switches, and isolators; assist in testing and continuity checks.
Candidate Qualifications & Requirements
Technical Background: ITI, Trade Certificate, or proven vocational training in HVAC, Sheet Metal Working, or Electrical Trades.
Work Experience: Minimum of 2 to 5 years of practical MEP site experience in building construction or facility maintenance projects in the GCC.
Trade Skills:
Ducting Roles: Ability to read HVAC layouts, handle sheet metal tools, execute duct joints, and install thermal insulation.
Electrician Role: Proficiency in reading electrical single-line diagrams, cable pulling, DB termination, and basic multimeter troubleshooting.
Safety Awareness: Knowledge of site safety standards, personal protective equipment (PPE) rules, and safe working at heights (scaffolding/ladders).
Local Visa Status: Candidates in Qatar with a valid QID and Transferable Visa / NOC will be prioritized for immediate joining.
Compensation & Benefits Package
Monthly Remuneration: Competitive monthly trade salary (QAR 1,800 – QAR 4,000 / month, based on role designation, trade test performance, and experience).
