Core Site Duties & Assistant Responsibilities

Reporting directly to the Site Electrical Foreman and Senior Electrician, the Electrical Helper will perform the following daily technical tasks:

• Installation & Assembly Support: Assist senior technicians in mounting electrical conduits, trunking, cable trays, junction boxes, light fixtures, and power socket outlets according to technical drawings.

• Cable Pulling & Routing: Help lay, pull, and organize low-voltage power cables, control wiring, and earthing conductors through conduits, ceilings, and cable trays safely.

• Tool & Material Preparation: Prepare, organize, and transport electrical tools, testing equipment, power drills, ladder setups, and wiring materials to specific site work locations.

• Panel & DB Dressing Support: Assist technicians during Distribution Board (DB) dressing, tagging wire connections, and organizing terminal strips under supervision.

• Site Housekeeping & Safety Compliance: Clean work areas, collect wire scraps, store equipment securely at the end of shifts, and strictly follow site Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) protocols, including wearing required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Candidate Qualifications and Requirements

• Educational & Technical Background: High School Diploma or Vocational/ITI Certificate in Electrical Trade or basic technical studies.
