Position Summary

A reputable Maintenance Company in Qatar is currently seeking an experienced and proactive Electrical Technician for full-time employment. This hands-on technical role is responsible for conducting routine electrical maintenance, troubleshooting complex system faults, carrying out repairs, and ensuring the safe, efficient operation of electrical systems and fixtures across residential, commercial, or industrial facilities in Qatar.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Electrical Maintenance & Inspection: Perform preventive and corrective electrical maintenance on power distribution panels, control gear, lighting systems, switches, outlets, and circuit breakers.
• System Diagnostics & Troubleshooting: Identify electrical faults using multimeters, testing meters, and schematic diagrams to resolve short circuits, voltage drops, and system trips efficiently.
• Repairs & Replacement: Execute component repairs, replace damaged wiring, install new fixtures, and service motors, pumps, or control panels in accordance with electrical standards.
• Safety Compliance: Strictly adhere to health and safety regulations, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) protocols, and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements while working on live or isolated circuits.
• Record Keeping: Document daily work orders, maintenance logs, and spare part usage to maintain accurate facility records.

Candidate Qualifications & Requirements

• Educational Background: **Diploma in Electrical Engineering**, ITI, or equivalent technical trade certification.
• Work Experience: Practical hands-on experience in electrical maintenance, repairs, and fault diagnosis within building maintenance, facility management, or construction environments.
• Technical Capabilities: Proficient in reading single-line electrical diagrams, wiring schematics, and operating testing instruments safely.
• Availability & Residency: Candidates currently residing in Qatar with a valid Qatar ID (QID), transferable visa/NOC, and available to **join immediately** are preferred.
• Core Skills: Strong practical problem-solving ability, high regard for site safety, and effective communication skills in basic English.
