Core Duties & Operational Responsibilities

Reporting directly to the Warehouse Supervisor and Logistics Coordinator, the Forklift & Truck Driver will execute the following daily functions:

• Material Handling & Stacking: Safely operate electric and diesel forklifts to load, unload, stack, and retrieve heavy HVAC units, palletized spare parts, gas cylinders, and ducting materials within the warehouse.

• Delivery & Transport Operations: Drive light, medium, or heavy delivery trucks to transport goods safely to client sites, commercial projects, and retail stores across Qatar in accordance with traffic schedules.

• Vehicle Inspection & Daily Maintenance: Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections (checking oil levels, tire pressure, brakes, hydraulic fluids, and battery status); report any mechanical issues to the fleet coordinator.

• Documentation & Cargo Verification: Verify delivery notes, invoice manifests, and bill of lading (BOL) receipts against physical cargo before departure; obtain authorized client signatures upon delivery.

• Safety & Warehouse Upkeep: Maintain strict adherence to warehouse safety protocols, load-securing (strapping/chaining) standards, speed limits, and Qatar traffic regulations.

Candidate Qualifications and Requirements

• Licensing Requirement: Valid Qatar Driving License (Medium/Heavy Truck endorsement) and/or a recognized Forklift Operator Certification / License.

• Work Experience: Minimum of 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience operating forklifts and driving delivery trucks for a warehouse, logistics provider, MEP contractor, or trading firm in Qatar or the GCC.
