Core Duties & Engineering Responsibilities

Reporting directly to the Project Manager and Lead Consultant, the UPDA Civil Engineer will execute the following technical functions:

• Technical Submittals & Documentation: Review subcontractor shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements to verify alignment with Qatar Construction Specifications (QCS).

• Progress Monitoring & Subcontractor Management: Monitor daily site progress against baseline baseline schedules, verify quantity take-offs, address site technical queries, and ensure safety compliance across all civil zones.

• Testing & Inspection Coordination: Supervise third-party laboratory soil, concrete, and material testing to maintain structural compliance during all construction phases.
