Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Heavy Vehicle Operation: Safely drive and maneuver heavy trailers, flatbeds, or container trucks to transport commercial cargo and freight across Qatar.
• Cargo Integrity & Safety: Ensure all loaded goods are properly secured, strapped, and balanced according to weight restrictions prior to departure.
• Pre-Trip Inspection: Conduct daily pre-trip vehicle checks, including brakes, tires, oil levels, coupling systems, and lights, reporting any mechanical faults promptly.
• Route & Delivery Management: Plan optimal driving routes, adhere strictly to specified delivery schedules, and complete required transport documentation and waybills.
• Regulatory Compliance: Strictly observe all GCC traffic rules, highway speed limits, weight station regulations, and company safety guidelines.

Candidate Qualifications & Requirements

• Driving Credentials: Must possess a valid **GCC Heavy Driving License** (or valid Qatar Heavy Trailer License).
• Work Experience: Demonstrated hands-on experience in driving and maneuvering **heavy trailers and articulated vehicles** within the GCC region.
• Vehicle Maintenance: Basic understanding of automotive mechanics and regular heavy vehicle maintenance routines.
• Personal Attributes: Clean driving record, high sense of safety responsibility, punctual attitude, and physical fitness for long driving shifts.
• Residency Status: Candidates currently residing in Qatar with a valid QID and transferable status are preferred.
