Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Heavy Fleet Operation: Safely drive and maneuver heavy trailers, container trucks, and articulated commercial vehicles to deliver cargo to assigned industrial destinations.
• Cargo Security & Inspection: Inspect container locks, cargo straps, chains, and load distribution before departure to ensure total stability and road safety during transit.
• Route Optimization & Timing: Plan efficient transport routes across Qatar’s highways, ports, and industrial zones, adhering strictly to delivery timelines and dispatch orders.
• Vehicle Upkeep & Safety Checks: Perform pre-trip and post-trip technical inspections (checking air brakes, tires, fifth-wheel coupling, lights, and fluid levels) and report maintenance needs immediately.
• Documentation & Traffic Compliance: Complete daily logbooks, obtain client delivery receipts/waybills, and observe all Qatar Ministry of Interior traffic safety laws and speed limits.

Candidate Qualifications & Requirements

• Mandatory Driving License: Must possess a valid **Qatar or GCC Heavy Vehicle / Trailer Driving License** (essential).
• Work Experience: Proven practical driving experience operating heavy trailers, articulated trucks, or long-haul freight vehicles in Qatar or the GCC region.
• Route Familiarity: Good knowledge of major routes, industrial areas (Mesaieed, Ras Laffan, Birkat Al Awamer, Industrial Area), commercial ports, and border procedures in Qatar.
• Core Skills: Excellent driving record, commitment to road safety, basic mechanical awareness, and effective functional communication skills.
• Residency Status: Candidates currently residing in Qatar with a valid Qatar ID (QID) and transferable visa/NOC, or qualified GCC license holders ready for onboarding, are invited to apply.
