Position Summary

QCare Health Services is currently seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for full-time employment in Qatar. This clinical role is responsible for delivering direct bedside patient care, administering prescribed medications, executing wound care and dressing protocols, monitoring vital signs, maintaining accurate patient charts, reporting changes in patient condition to supervising physicians, and educating patients and their families on ongoing care plans.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Direct Bedside Patient Care: Provide hands-on nursing care, assist patients with daily living activities, hygiene, and mobility, ensuring overall patient comfort and safety.
• Medication & Wound Management: Administer oral, topical, and routine medications as ordered by physicians, perform sterile dressing changes, and maintain precise wound care logs.
• Vital Signs & Condition Monitoring: Continuously monitor, record, and evaluate patient vital signs (BP, pulse, respiration, temperature, oxygen saturation) and immediately report clinical status changes.
• Clinical Charting & Records: Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant nursing documentation within the patient's Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
• Patient & Family Education: Educate patients and family caregivers regarding medication administration schedules, home care instructions, and health maintenance protocols.

Candidate Qualifications & Requirements

• Educational Attainment: Recognized Diploma in Practical Nursing (LPN) or equivalent accredited nursing credential.
• Clinical Experience: Minimum of 2+ years of continuous experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse in a recognized hospital, clinic, or healthcare facility.
• Licensure Requirement: Valid and active QCHP (Qatar Council for Healthcare Practitioners) / MOPH (Ministry of Public Health) License or official eligibility letter.
• Mandatory Certification: Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Core Skills: Excellent interpersonal capabilities, strong empathetic patient-focused care approach, and fluent English communication skills (Arabic language capability is a plus).
