Core Duties & Engineering Responsibilities

Reporting directly to the FM Project Manager and Technical Operations Lead, the Mechanical Engineer will execute the following technical functions:

• Mechanical Systems Oversight: Oversee the continuous operation and efficiency of mechanical, HVAC (chillers, AHUs, FCUs, cooling towers), plumbing, drainage, firefighting, and pump station assets across assigned facilities.

• Preventive & Corrective Maintenance Planning: Develop and implement Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) schedules, supervise corrective repair jobs, and perform root-cause failure analyses on malfunctioning mechanical equipment.

• Contractor & Technician Supervision: Lead in-house MEP technicians and specialist subcontractors, conduct site inspections, review work permits (LOTO), and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards.

• Energy Management & Equipment Lifecycle: Analyze system power consumption, evaluate mechanical component wear, recommend energy-saving initiatives, and manage mechanical spare parts inventory.

• Technical Audits & Client Reporting: Conduct facility condition assessments, compile technical service logs, prepare monthly maintenance performance reports, and handle client service requests efficiently.

Candidate Qualifications and Requirements

• Educational Attainment: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university (UPDA/MMUP engineering license is a strong advantage).
