Core Operational Duties by Category

1. QC Engineers (Civil / MEP)

• Quality Assurance Management: Develop, implement, and maintain project Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) procedures according to ISO 9001 and Qatar Construction Specifications (QCS).

• Documentation & Submittals: Review and approve Material Submittals (MAR), Method Statements (MS), and Inspection and Test Plans (ITP); coordinate with client consultants for approval.

• NCR Management: Issue and manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), analyze root causes, and ensure implementation of effective Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).

2. QA/QC Inspectors (Civil / MEP)

• Site Inspections: Perform routine and scheduled site quality inspections for civil works (concrete, formwork, rebar, waterproofing) or MEP systems (HVAC, plumbing, fire-fighting, electrical installations).

• Testing & Witnessing: Inspect incoming site materials, supervise field testing (concrete slump, compaction, pressure testing, duct leakage), and raise Work Inspection Requests (WIR).

• Quality Logs: Maintain up-to-date inspection logs, photographic records, and daily quality reports for consultant sign-off.

3. Draftsmen (Civil / Architecture / MEP)

• Drawing Production: Prepare accurate, detailed construction shop drawings, composite coordination drawings, and structural/MEP layout details using AutoCAD or Revit.

• Clash Detection & Coordination: Resolve interdisciplinary clashes between civil, architectural, structural, and MEP services prior to site execution.

• As-Built Documentation: Update drawings based on site redline markups to generate final submission-ready as-built drawing packages.

Candidate Qualifications and Mandatory Requirements

To qualify for these technical vacancies, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Educational Background:

  • Engineers: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.

  • Inspectors & Draftsmen: Diploma in Engineering, ITI Certification, or certified CAD/BIM qualifications.

• Work Experience: Minimum of 3 to 7 years of hands-on experience in quality control or drafting on building construction or infrastructure projects in Qatar or the GCC.

• Technical Standards: Working knowledge of QCS (Qatar Construction Specifications), ISO standards, Kahramaa guidelines, and QCCD requirements relevant to the candidate's discipline.

• Software Skills: High proficiency in AutoCAD (and Revit for Draftsmen); MS Office proficiency for QC Engineers and Inspectors.

• Immediate Availability: Candidates MUST be currently in Qatar with a valid QID and Transferable NOC ready for immediate onboarding.
