Core Duties & Ride Maintenance Responsibilities

Reporting directly to the Rides Maintenance Supervisor and Electrical Lead Engineer, the Rides Maintenance Technician will execute the following daily technical tasks:

• Routine Maintenance & Pre-Opening Inspections: Perform daily, weekly, and monthly electrical preventive maintenance checks on ride systems, control panels, safety restraint sensors, emergency stops, and drive motors prior to park operating hours.

• Troubleshooting & Fault Diagnostics: Isolate and rectify electrical control faults, PLC signal drops, sensor misalignments, voltage fluctuations, and circuit breaker trips on complex ride control systems.

• Control Systems & Automation: Test, calibrate, and maintain Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) cabinets, Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), relays, contactors, and photoelectric safety sensors.

• Regulatory & Safety Compliance: Ensure all maintenance, lock-out/tag-out (LOTO) procedures, and component replacements strictly align with international amusement ride safety standards (ISO 17842 / ASTM) and manufacturer guidelines.

• Logistics & Incident Documentation: Log completed work orders, report component wear or spare part requirements, and maintain accurate electrical schematics and technical service records.

Candidate Qualifications and Requirements
