Job Summary

Emerging Consultancy Services is urgently recruiting an experienced BMS Technician for full-time facility maintenance and system installation projects in Qatar. The position involves hands-on installation, termination, calibration, and preventive maintenance of Building Management System (BMS) field devices, DDC control panels, and automation wiring across commercial and institutional facilities in Doha.

Candidate Qualifications & Requirements

• Educational Attainment: Technical Diploma (2 or 3 years) in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or Mechatronics Engineering.

• Work Experience: Minimum 5 years of hands-on BMS maintenance and installation experience in building services or facility management sectors.

• Field Technical Skills: Proven practical knowledge in wiring DDC panels, terminating sensors, installing motorized control valves, dampers, VFD integration, and reading MEP schematics.

Core Operational Responsibilities

1. Panel Wiring & Termination: Wire, terminate, and test DDC (Direct Digital Control) panels, field control modules, relay cards, and power supply units based on approved shop drawings.

2. Field Device Installation: Mount, wire, and calibrate BMS sensors (temperature, humidity, differential pressure, air velocity, CO2), water flow meters, control valves, and actuators.

3. Preventive & Corrective Maintenance: Perform scheduled maintenance on automation hardware, clean sensor heads, inspect cable connections, and replace faulty field components.

4. Loop Testing & Troubleshooting: Assist BMS engineers during end-to-end loop testing, point-to-point checkouts, signal verification (0-10V, 4-20mA), and BACnet/Modbus network continuity checks.

5. HVAC & Plant Integration: Perform physical inspections and maintenance on control interfaces connected to Chillers, AHUs, FCUs, VAV boxes, primary/secondary pumps, and exhaust systems.
