Core Duties and Engineering Responsibilities

The UPDA Civil Engineer will report to the Project Manager and oversee site civil execution, consultant liaison, and quality assurance:

• Site Supervision & Technical Execution: Direct and monitor daily civil construction works, formwork, steel reinforcement, concrete pouring, and structural finishing to ensure adherence to approved shop drawings and project timelines.

• Quality Assurance & Inspection Requests: Review and submit Work Inspection Requests (WIR), inspect incoming civil construction materials against approved Material Submittals (MAR), and resolve Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).

• Documentation & Progress Reporting: Prepare daily site logs, weekly progress summaries, quantity evaluations for interim payment certificates (IPCs), and mark up redline drawings for final as-built packages.
