1. Key Responsibilities & Technical Scope
As an AC Technician, your daily tasks will encompass installation, diagnostic maintenance, refrigerant servicing, and component repairs across cooling systems:
- Install, mount, and commission split AC units, window units, fan coil units (FCUs), air handling units (AHUs), and ducted package air conditioning systems.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance, coil chemical cleaning, air filter replacement, blower wheel balancing, and condensate drain line flushing.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults, including compressor failures, motor burner issues, relay faults, contactors, capacitors, and thermostat wiring errors.
- Perform system leak testing using nitrogen pressure tests, vacuum dehydration, and precise refrigerant charging (R22, R410A, R134a, R32).
- Inspect and repair copper refrigerant piping, perform brazing/soldering operations, and install proper armaflex thermal insulation.
- Maintain daily service worksheets, maintenance logs, and ensure strict compliance with site electrical and environmental safety regulations.
2. Candidate Eligibility & Selection Criteria
