1. Key Responsibilities & Site Engineering Operations
As a Site Civil Engineer, your core daily functions will focus on site execution, subcontractor supervision, quality control, and technical coordination:
- Supervise daily civil and structural works on site to ensure execution strictly aligns with approved shop drawings, project specifications, and structural codes.
- Manage and coordinate site supervisors, foremen, subcontractors, and labor teams to maintain work progress and achieve scheduled milestones.
- Coordinate directly with consultant engineers for Request for Inspection (RFI) approvals, site walkthroughs, material inspections, and QA/QC verification.
- Enforce rigorous site safety guidelines, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) compliance, and risk mitigation practices alongside the HSE team.
- Prepare daily work progress reports, site logbooks, material consumption tracking, and look-ahead schedules for the Project Manager.
- Resolve technical site issues, spatial clashes, and design variations in close collaboration with the technical office and drafting teams.
