1. Key Responsibilities & Procurement Operations
As a Procurement Coordinator, your daily operational duties will involve supporting end-to-end purchasing and supply chain workflows:
- Float Requests for Quotations (RFQs) to approved vendors and suppliers based on material requisitions from project sites.
- Source, evaluate, and compare supplier quotes, preparing commercial comparison sheets to identify cost-effective and compliant materials.
- Coordinate directly with local and international suppliers, negotiating pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
- Generate, process, and issue formal Purchase Orders (POs) using ERP software following appropriate management approvals.
- Track material shipments and delivery schedules, liaising with logistics, customs clearance, and site warehouse teams to ensure timely arrival.
- Maintain accurate procurement databases, vendor lists, pricing records, and purchase documentation for auditing and reporting purposes.
