1. Key Responsibilities & Site Supervision
As a Civil Foreman at NAJCO, your daily site supervision duties will encompass work allocation, execution monitoring, quality control, and safety adherence:
- Supervise daily civil site operations, including shuttering, steel fixing, concrete casting, masonry, earthworks, and structural finishing work.
- Allocate daily tasks to site workers, masons, steel fixers, carpenters, and sub-contractors to maintain continuous site productivity.
- Interpret structural and architectural drawings, ensuring all ongoing work strictly aligns with approved plans and site instructions from project engineers.
- Perform regular quality checks on workmanship, material usage, and structural dimensions prior to submitting work for formal site inspections.
- Coordinate directly with site engineers, safety officers, and project management to ensure smooth workflow and material availability.
- Enforce strict compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) guidelines, personal protective equipment (PPE) usage, and site hazard controls.
