1. Key Responsibilities & Site Operations Scope
As a Plumbing Foreman, your daily responsibilities will focus on direct site supervision, material coordination, pressure testing, and trade team management:
- Supervise daily plumbing works, including soil, waste, and vent (SWV) piping, domestic water supply lines (PPR, PEX, HDPE, Copper), storm water drainage, and sanitary fixture installations.
- Assign daily tasks to plumbers, pipefitters, and helpers, ensuring daily productivity targets and work schedules are met efficiently.
- Read and interpret MEP shop drawings, plumbing schematics, and isometric layouts to direct field installation work accurately.
- Coordinate material requisitions, tool availability, and equipment checks with MEP project engineers and storekeepers to prevent site downtime.
- Witness and conduct hydrotests, gravity leak testing, and pressure testing on water supply lines and drainage stacks prior to consultant inspections.
- Conduct daily pre-shift toolbox talks, enforce PPE usage, and ensure strict compliance with site safety protocols and Kahramaa/QCS regulations.
