1. Key Responsibilities & Site Safety Scope
As the HSE Officer at NAJCO, your daily responsibilities will focus on site hazard identification, safety compliance monitoring, incident reporting, and safety training:
- Monitor daily civil construction activities to ensure strict compliance with project HSE plans, local labor laws, and international health and safety standards.
- Conduct regular site safety walk-throughs and inspections to identify potential hazards, unsafe work practices, and environmental compliance issues.
- Assist in formulating Risk Assessments, Job Safety Analyses (JSA), and Method Statements prior to the start of high-risk site operations.
- Deliver daily pre-shift Toolbox Talks (TBT), safety inductions for new workers, and ongoing awareness training on site hazards.
- Enforce strict usage of mandatory Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and maintain high standards of site housekeeping and scaffold safety.
- Investigate near-misses, workplace accidents, and unsafe occurrences, preparing comprehensive root-cause analysis reports for project management.
