1. Key Responsibilities & Daily Operations
As a Light Driver, your core duties will revolve around safe transportation, timely material delivery, and routine vehicle upkeep:
- Safely transport company employees, site personnel, and visitors to assigned destinations and work locations in a timely manner.
- Perform accurate loading, transport, and unloading of company goods, materials, tools, and official delivery packages.
- Perform daily pre-trip vehicle checks including checking fluid levels, tire pressure, brakes, lights, and fuel status before operation.
- Maintain the cleanliness and physical hygiene of assigned vehicles through regular washing and interior cleaning.
- Navigate routes efficiently using GPS applications and deep personal knowledge of Qatar road networks to optimize driving times.
- Record daily trip mileage logs, fuel expense receipts, and promptly report any mechanical defects, service maintenance needs, or traffic incidents to supervisor management.
