1. Key Responsibilities & Logistics Operations
As a Logistics Coordinator, your daily duties will focus on end-to-end shipment management, inventory tracking, customs clearance support, and transport scheduling:
- Oversee daily import/export cargo shipments, ocean/air/land freight movements, customs clearance documentation, and port delivery schedules.
- Coordinate directly with international suppliers, local transporters, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and warehouse personnel to ensure on-time delivery.
- Record and track stock movements, inventory entries, material transfers, and purchase orders using integrated ERP software systems.
- Verify shipping documents, including Bills of Lading (BL), Air Waybills (AWB), Commercial Invoices, Certificates of Origin (COO), and Packing Lists for regulatory compliance.
- Monitor transportation costs, audit freight bills, resolve delivery delays or damaged goods claims, and optimize supply chain routes.
- Maintain complete shipping archives, dispatch registers, delivery receipts (PODs), and vendor performance logs.
