1. Key Responsibilities & Operations Scope
As a Scaffolder, your daily site tasks will center around material handling, safe erection and dismantling of access platforms, component inspections, and strict adherence to height safety protocols:
- Erect, modify, and dismantle system scaffolding (Cuplok, Ringlock, Kwikstage, or Tube & Coupler) according to approved engineering drawings, load capacities, and site safety standards.
- Unload, inspect, and organize scaffolding materials including standards, ledgers, transoms, couplers, base plates, sole boards, toe boards, and wooden/metal planks.
- Inspect ground conditions and ensure proper load distribution using sole boards and base plates prior to erecting vertical standards.
- Install safety netting, guardrails, toe boards, ladders, and protective decking to create safe, stable working platforms for trade workers at height.
- Conduct pre-use checks of hand tools, spirit levels, scaffold spanners, couplers, and safety harnesses before beginning daily site activities.
- Follow strict working-at-height safety rules, including 100% tie-off using dual-lanyard safety harnesses, drop-tool protection, and scaffolding tagging systems (Scafftag - Red/Green).
2. Candidate Eligibility & Selection Criteria
