1. Key Responsibilities & Operations Scope
As a Senior Refrigeration Technician, your daily operational duties will focus on preventive maintenance, electrical/mechanical troubleshooting, refrigerant management, and technical support:
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs on commercial refrigeration units, cold rooms, walk-in freezers, display chillers, ice makers, central chillers, and air conditioning systems.
- Diagnose complex electrical and mechanical faults in compressors, condenser coils, evaporators, expansion valves, thermostats, defrost timers, and control panels.
- Execute safe refrigerant recovery, system evacuation, nitrogen pressure leak testing, filter-drier replacements, and precise gas charging in compliance with environmental safety standards.
- Perform copper tubing brazing, pipe insulation, and electrical wiring checks using multimeters, manifold gauges, and temperature measuring tools.
- Supervise junior technicians, guide field troubleshooting activities, and ensure adherence to site health, safety, and environment (HSE) protocols.
- Maintain accurate service logs, equipment history cards, and submit daily maintenance reports through Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
2. Candidate Eligibility & Selection Criteria
