1. Key Responsibilities & Fabrication Scope
As a Vessel Fabricator, your daily workshop and site operational duties will include:
- Fabricating, constructing, and repairing pressure vessels, atmospheric storage tanks, heat exchanger shells, boilers, and industrial process equipment according to ASME/API standards.
- Reading and interpreting fabrication blueprints, shop assembly drawings, welding symbols, and mechanical isometric specifications.
- Executing heavy plate layout, cutting (gas/plasma), beveling, hydraulic plate rolling, shell forming, and dish-head fit-up operations.
- Performing precision nozzle layout, orientation markings, shell cutouts, nozzle insertion, and flange fit-ups with exact elevation and alignment tolerances.
- Fabricating and assembling industrial pipe spools, structural steel skid frames, platforms, ladders, and internal vessel internals.
- Tack-welding components into position for final welding and conducting dimensional inspections before and after welding processes.
- Ensuring strict compliance with workshop HSE protocols, hot-work safety standards, and QA/QC inspection requirements.
2. Candidate Eligibility & Selection Criteria
