Position Summary

A established trading firm in Doha is urgently seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Accountant for immediate full-time employment. This position is responsible for managing daily financial transactions, processing vendor and customer ledgers, handling VAT returns, overseeing payroll preparation, and producing accurate monthly financial reports utilizing modern accounting software.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Financial Management & Bookkeeping: Maintain accurate general ledger accounts, manage accounts payable/receivable, and execute bank reconciliations on a daily and monthly basis.
• VAT Compliance & Reporting: Prepare and file Value Added Tax (VAT) submissions and tax documentation in compliance with Qatari tax regulations.
• Payroll Administration: Process monthly employee payroll, calculate overtime, and ensure strict compliance with Qatar's Wage Protection System (WPS).
• Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly profit and loss (P&L) statements, balance sheets, cash flow forecasts, and trading margin evaluations for management review.
• Software Operations: Record transactions, maintain inventory ledgers, and manage client billings using QuickBooks, Tally, or similar accounting platforms.

Candidate Qualifications & Requirements

• Educational Attainment: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce from a recognized university.
• Software Proficiency: Practical, hands-on experience using **QuickBooks** or **Tally** software for daily accounting routines.
• Core Accounting Knowledge: Solid understanding of standard accounting principles, VAT processing, bank reconciliation, and payroll management.
• Availability & Visa Status: Immediate joining availability with a transferable visa and NOC in Qatar is highly preferred.
