Position Summary

A prominent government entity in Qatar is currently seeking an experienced Business Architect for a full-time, on-site engagement in Doha. This strategic role is responsible for driving national-level enterprise architecture and business transformation initiatives, conducting capability mapping, establishing value-stream models, architecting current and target states, leading gap analyses, and facilitating high-level stakeholder workshops across public sector frameworks.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Business Architecture Blueprinting: Develop and maintain enterprise business architecture models, including business capability maps, organizational alignment maps, and value-stream structures.
• Transformation & Target State Design: Perform baseline (current state) and target-state architectural design, execute structured gap analyses, and build strategic implementation roadmaps for public sector services.
• EA Tooling & Modeling: Utilize industry-standard modeling notations (ArchiMate, BPMN) and EA platforms (e.g., OrbusInfinity, Bizzdesign, SAP EA) to maintain architectural repositories.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Lead executive alignment workshops, engage with C-level stakeholders, program managers, and technical leads to align business strategy with digital technology transformations.
• Governance & Alignment: Ensure transformation initiatives comply with national enterprise architecture standards, TOGAF guidelines, and governmental governance frameworks.

Candidate Qualifications & Requirements

• Work Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of dedicated experience in Business Architecture, Enterprise Architecture, or Business Transformation.
• Core Methodologies: Expertise in business capability mapping, value-stream modeling, BPMN, and ArchiMate frameworks.
• Certifications & Standards: TOGAF 9/10 certification or formal enterprise architecture credentials are highly preferred.
• Tool Proficiency: Hands-on experience operating enterprise architecture repositories such as OrbusInfinity, Bizzdesign, SAP PowerDesigner, or equivalent EA platforms.
• Domain Expertise: Prior experience supporting government, public-sector, tax authority, or financial-services architecture frameworks is strongly favored.
• Work Arrangement: Must be available to work 100% on-site in Doha, Qatar.
