Core Duties & Supply Chain Responsibilities

Reporting directly to the Operations Manager and Freight Forwarding Supervisor, the Logistics Coordinator will perform the following daily functions:

• Shipment & Freight Coordination: Arrange and track inbound and outbound cargo shipments via ocean, air, and land transport; monitor consignment status and update clients and internal teams on estimated delivery times.

• Customs & Documentation Management: Prepare, review, and verify essential shipping and customs documentation, including Bills of Lading (B/L), Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Certificates of Origin, and Customs Clearance forms.

• Warehouse & Inventory Monitoring: Coordinate with warehouse supervisors to monitor stock levels, record inventory transfers, reconcile physical stock counts against ERP systems, and optimize storage dispatch schedules.

• Carrier & Vendor Liaison: Maintain professional relationships with shipping lines, trucking contractors, port authorities, and customs agents to negotiate schedules, resolve transport delays, and ensure cost efficiency.

• Reporting & Compliance: Generate routine logistics status reports, monitor freight costs, verify vendor invoices, and strictly adhere to Qatari maritime, customs, and international trade compliance standards.

Candidate Qualifications and Requirements

• Educational Attainment: Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, International Trade, or a related discipline.
