Position Summary

A prominent oil and gas enterprise in Qatar is currently seeking a qualified QA/QC Civil Inspector for project-based employment. This technical role is responsible for conducting site quality inspections, verifying civil construction works, reviewing material compliance, executing Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), and ensuring all civil installations strictly adhere to oil & gas project specifications and international standards.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Civil Quality Inspections: Perform daily quality surveillance and stage-gate inspections for civil works, including excavation, concrete pouring, rebar placement, shuttering, paving, and underground utilities.
• ITP Execution & Witnessing: Implement Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), witness field testing (soil compaction, slump tests, concrete cube testing), and verify test reports with third-party labs.
• Compliance Verification: Ensure all civil structural works, raw materials, and construction practices comply with project specifications, IFC drawings, and QatarEnergy QA/QC guidelines.
• Non-Conformance Management: Identify quality deviations, issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), track corrective/preventive actions (CAPA), and verify repair closure on site.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain comprehensive inspection logs, compile quality dossiers, prepare daily/weekly QA/QC progress reports, and support final handover documentation.

Candidate Qualifications & Requirements

• Mandatory Requirement: Must be **QatarEnergy (QE) Approved** as a QA/QC Civil Inspector.
• Work Experience: Demonstrated hands-on civil QA/QC inspection experience on **oil & gas, petrochemical, or major industrial infrastructure projects** in Qatar or the GCC.
• Educational Background: Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent quality assurance certifications.
• Technical Knowledge: Thorough understanding of civil ITPs, QMS standards (ISO 9001), concrete testing protocols, and international engineering codes (ASTM, ACI, QCS).
• Local Status: Candidates currently residing in Qatar with a valid QID and transferable status are highly preferred.
