Position Summary

EMCO Qatar, a premier engineering, industrial maintenance, and contracting firm in Qatar, is urgently seeking experienced QA/QC Engineers across Civil, Mechanical, and Electrical disciplines for immediate project placement in Doha. The selected quality engineers will oversee quality control standards, material submittals, inspection requests, and quality assurance compliance across major infrastructure, maintenance, and industrial engineering projects.

Key Duties & Discipline Focus

1. QA/QC Civil Engineer

• Perform site inspections for civil works, structural concrete, earthworks, and finishes to verify compliance with project specifications and approved Method Statements.
• Review material delivery certificates, oversee soil/concrete lab test results, and manage Inspection Requests (IRs) and Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).

2. QA/QC Mechanical Engineer

• Supervise quality standards for HVAC systems, piping, plumbing, fire protection installations, and heavy mechanical industrial equipment.
• Witness pressure testing, duct leakage testing, alignment checks, and pre-commissioning activities on project and maintenance sites.

3. QA/QC Electrical Engineer

• Inspect electrical containment, low voltage (LV) / high voltage (HV) panels, wiring, lighting, transformer installations, and extra-low voltage (ELV) systems.
• Verify electrical insulation resistance, continuity testing, earthing integrity, and ensure adherence to Kahramaa and QCS standards.

Candidate Qualifications & Requirements

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering from a recognized university.
• Professional Experience: 3+ years of dedicated QA/QC experience in building construction, civil infrastructure, industrial plant shutdown, or facility maintenance projects in the GCC.
• Quality Certifications: Strong understanding of ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems. Relevant certifications (e.g., CSWIP, AWS, NACE, or ASNT) are advantageous for mechanical/civil roles.
• Locational Requirement & Availability: **Must be currently residing in Qatar** with a valid Qatar ID (QID) and ready for **immediate joining** with transferable status / NOC.
• Technical Competencies: Ability to prepare ITPs (Inspection & Test Plans), evaluate technical submittals, write comprehensive quality reports, and communicate fluently in professional English.
