Position Summary

Construction Engineering Consultancy (CEC Qatar), a leading engineering consultancy firm in Qatar, is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Senior Civil Site Engineer for full-time assignment in Doha. The successful candidate will lead site supervision, oversee main contractor execution, ensure structural quality compliance, and represent the consultancy in managing complex civil engineering and construction projects.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Consultancy Site Supervision: Lead day-to-day consultancy site supervision for major civil and structural works, ensuring strict contractor adherence to approved IFC drawings, specifications, and project baselines.
• Quality Assurance & Compliance: Inspect reinforced concrete works, post-tensioning, structural steel erection, and earthworks; review and approve Inspection Requests (IRs) and Method Statements.
• Contractor Management & Progress Tracking: Monitor main contractor progress, evaluate construction methodology, review variation requests, and ensure site safety protocols adhere to Qatar Construction Specifications (QCS).
• Technical Resolution: Interface directly with design teams, clients, and authority representatives to resolve site technical queries (RFIs) and structural discrepancies promptly.
• Executive Reporting: Lead regular site progress meetings, issue monthly quality and supervision reports, and manage site handover/snagging procedures.

Candidate Qualifications & Requirements

• Mandatory Certification: **Must hold a valid MMUP / UPDA Grade A Engineer Registration** in Civil Engineering from the Ministry of Municipality (Qatar).
• Educational Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized, accredited university.
• Professional Experience: Minimum 10+ years of proven site supervision and construction management experience with reputable engineering consultancies or PMCs in Qatar/GCC.
• Residency & NOC Status: **Must be currently based in Qatar** with a valid Qatar ID (QID) and possess a transferable visa / **No Objection Certificate (NOC)** ready for immediate joining.
• Technical & Personal Skills: Authoritative knowledge of QCS, local municipal regulations, and structural engineering codes; exceptional leadership, negotiation, and fluent English communication skills.
