Position Summary

Smartstep Transportation in Doha, Qatar is currently seeking an experienced and strategic Senior HR / Recruitment Specialist for full-time employment. This pivotal Human Resources role is responsible for driving talent acquisition initiatives, managing end-to-end onboarding processes, optimizing manpower planning, and overseeing daily HR operations to support business growth and workforce efficiency across Qatar.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Talent Acquisition & Recruitment: Oversee full-lifecycle recruitment processes, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, shortlisting, and hiring qualified candidates across transportation, operational, and managerial levels.
• Onboarding & Induction: Coordinate seamless onboarding and orientation experiences for new hires, facilitating documentation, medicals, QID processing, and company policy integrations.
• Manpower Planning & Strategy: Collaborate with department heads to forecast staffing demands, analyze turnover trends, and execute structured manpower allocation strategies.
• HR Operations & Employee Relations: Manage day-to-day HR administrative tasks, address employee grievances, ensure compliance with Qatar Labour Law, and maintain updated personnel records.
• Performance & Policy Support: Support annual performance appraisal workflows, implement workplace policies, and coordinate staff training or professional development programs.

Candidate Qualifications & Requirements

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related discipline.
• Work Experience: Proven background in HR operations, talent acquisition, and employee lifecycle management, ideally within the transportation, logistics, or corporate sector in Qatar or the GCC.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Practical understanding of local employment practices, immigration workflows, and **Qatar Labour Law**.
• Core Competencies: Exceptional interpersonal communication, strong organizational abilities, problem-solving skills, and confidentiality in handling personnel matters.
• Residency Status: Candidates currently residing in Qatar with a valid Qatar ID (QID) and transferable visa/NOC status are preferred for immediate deployment.
