Position Summary

A premier Hospitality Group operating in Doha, Qatar is currently seeking an organized and proactive Storekeeper for full-time employment across its restaurant operations. This critical supply chain role is responsible for overseeing store inventory, receiving raw food ingredients and dry supplies, maintaining proper stock rotation and storage temperatures, tracking daily stock movements, and coordinating closely with the central procurement team to maintain seamless kitchen operations.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Receiving & Inspection: Receive incoming shipments of fresh food items, frozen goods, beverages, and kitchen consumables; verify quantities against purchase orders and inspect quality standards.
• Inventory & Stock Control: Organize and maintain dry storage, walk-in chillers, and freezers; implement strict FIFO (First-In, First-Out) inventory rotation to minimize waste and spoilage.
• Stock Issuance & Monitoring: Issue daily inventory items to kitchen and service personnel based on approved requisitions, maintaining accurate digital and manual stock ledgers.
• Procurement Coordination: Monitor minimum and maximum stock thresholds, perform regular physical stock counts, and liaise with the procurement department to trigger timely purchase requisitions.
• Hygiene & Safety Compliance: Ensure store areas adhere strictly to HACCP guidelines, municipal health standards, and safe storage hygiene practices in Qatar.

Candidate Qualifications & Requirements

• Educational Background: High School Diploma, Vocational Certificate, or Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Hospitality Management.
• Work Experience: Proven practical experience as a Storekeeper, Inventory Clerk, or Receiving Agent within a restaurant, hotel, catering company, or retail food outlet in Qatar or the GCC.
• Technical Capabilities: Basic computer skills with proficiency in digital inventory software, storekeeper management modules, or standard MS Excel for logging stock.
• Essential Competencies: High attention to detail, basic mathematical capability, physical stamina for handling store items, and reliable time management.
• Residency Status: Candidates currently residing in Qatar with a valid Qatar ID (QID) and transferable visa/NOC status are preferred for immediate onboarding.
