Core Duties & Dining Service Responsibilities

Reporting directly to the Restaurant Supervisor and Floor Manager, the Waiter / Waitress will perform the following daily operational tasks:

• Guest Greeting & Seating Support: Welcome arriving diners warmly, escort them to assigned tables, present food and beverage menus, and inform guests about daily specials or chef recommendations.

• Order Taking & POS Entry: Take food and drink orders accurately, enter items promptly into the Point of Sale (POS) system, and communicate special dietary requirements or modifications directly to kitchen staff.

• Food & Beverage Service: Deliver dishes and beverages from the service bar and kitchen promptly, maintain proper table service etiquette, check back with guests during their meal, and clear used crockery and glassware efficiently.

• Table Maintenance & Sanitation: Reset tables with clean cutlery, napkins, and glassware after guest departure, maintain clean dining areas, and follow high standards of personal hygiene and food safety (HACCP) rules.

• Bill Processing: Present detailed dining bills, accept cash or card payments via POS payment terminals accurately, process transactions, and thank departing guests warmly.

Candidate Qualifications and Requirements

• Educational Attainment: High School Diploma, Secondary School Certificate, or Diploma in Hospitality/Culinary Arts.
