1. Key Responsibilities & Technical Operations
As an IT System Administrator, your daily operational duties will span server infrastructure management, data protection, and network maintenance:
- Deploy, configure, maintain, and upgrade physical and virtual Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) and Linux (Ubuntu/RedHat/CentOS) infrastructure.
- Manage Active Directory (AD), Group Policy Objects (GPO), DNS, DHCP, Office 365 / Microsoft 365 tenant administration, and user access privileges.
- Implement, monitor, and verify automated daily/weekly data backup procedures, disaster recovery (DR) plans, and system restoration drills.
- Configure and maintain network security protocols, firewalls, VPN connections, endpoint antivirus protection, and system patch updates.
- Troubleshoot complex hardware, operating system, and network connectivity issues for on-site and remote client end-users.
- Maintain complete IT asset inventories, license compliance registers, and technical documentation for server topology and network configurations.
