1. Key Responsibilities & Operations
As a Planning Engineer, your core daily responsibilities will center on maintaining schedule integrity, progress measurement, and schedule risk management:
- Develop, maintain, and update baseline master schedules using Primavera P6 in accordance with project specifications, contract milestones, and WBS frameworks.
- Perform physical progress tracking, earned value management (EVM), critical path analysis, and variance monitoring against the approved baseline.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports, S-curves, manpower histograms, equipment utilization schedules, and executive dashboards for management and clients.
- Conduct delay impact analysis, time impact analysis (TIA), and Extension of Time (EOT) claim evaluations in coordination with commercial and technical teams.
- Liaise closely with site execution teams, subcontractors, project managers, and consultant engineers to ensure schedule alignment and identify potential bottlenecks.
- Identify project risks early and propose recovery schedules or mitigation measures to keep infrastructure deliverables on track.
2. Candidate Eligibility & Selection Criteria
Applicants must satisfy the following academic and professional qualifications to qualify for consideration:
