1. Key Responsibilities & Design Operations
As a Senior Electrical Design Engineer, your core responsibilities will involve leading electrical engineering calculations, BIM modeling, and statutory approval processes:
- Lead complete electrical design concepts, schematic diagrams, and detailed engineering design for power distribution, lighting, earthing, lightning protection, and ELV systems.
- Perform advanced electrical engineering calculations, including connected load/maximum demand schedules, voltage drop, short-circuit analysis, and transformer sizing using ETAP/Amtech or DIALux software.
- Produce and review electrical layouts, single line diagrams (SLD), cable routing, shop drawings, and Bills of Quantities (BOQ) in compliance with Kahramaa (KM) regulations and QCS.
- Coordinate continuously with Mechanical (HVAC/Plumbing), Structural, and Architectural design teams to resolve spatial conflicts and integrate MEP building systems.
- Prepare comprehensive technical specifications, tender documentation, and design compliance reports for client presentation.
- Liaise directly with client representatives, project managers, and Qatari municipal/utility authorities (Kahramaa, Civil Defense/QCDD) to secure design clearances and approvals.
2. Candidate Eligibility & Technical Requirements
