1. Key Responsibilities & Daily Operations
As a Production Supervisor at Etihad Steel Factory, your primary duties will involve driving daily shop-floor execution, optimizing material usage, and managing technical fabrication teams:
- Supervise daily workshop fabrication operations, including steel cutting, fit-up, welding, assembly, sandblasting, and coating of structural steel components.
- Assign daily tasks to shop-floor teams (welders, fabricators, fitters, CNC machine operators), ensuring efficient shift coverage and labor productivity.
- Review engineering fabrication drawings, bill of materials (BOM), and production schedules to coordinate material routing and machine utilization.
