1. Key Responsibilities & Commercial Operations
As a Civil Quantity Surveyor, your daily functions will center on material take-offs, commercial management, cost monitoring, and contractual documentation:
- Perform accurate take-offs and quantity measurements from architectural, structural, and civil engineering drawings following CMMI or POMI standards.
- Prepare comprehensive Bills of Quantities (BOQs), tender documentation, rate breakdown analysis, and cost estimates for prospective civil construction projects.
- Review, verify, and certify Interim Payment Certificates (IPCs) for main contractors and subcontractors based on verified physical site progress.
- Evaluate and negotiate contractual variations, scope changes, rate build-ups, and cost impact claims in accordance with FIDIC contract provisions.
- Conduct cost monitoring, budget tracking, cash flow forecasting, and value engineering recommendations to maximize project profitability.
- Maintain complete commercial archives, sub-contractor payment records, measurement sheets, and contractual correspondence registers.
2. Candidate Eligibility & Selection Criteria
